Orafide

Safety

Faith communities should feel safe. These are the rules we hold ourselves to, and the habits that protect you.

Our promises

  • Report and block are always free and are never part of a paid plan.
  • The dating service is for adults only (18+). We remove anyone we believe is a minor.
  • Verification tools are free to every member who wants a verified badge.
  • We review reports and act on them, up to removing accounts. Serious threats may be reported to law enforcement.

How to report or block

  1. Open the person's profile or conversation.
  2. Tap the … menu and choose Report or Block.
  3. Reporting sends us the details; blocking immediately hides you from each other.

If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.

Dating safety tips

  • Keep conversation in the app until you trust the person. Do not share your address, workplace or financial details early.
  • Never send money, gift cards or crypto. Anyone asking is a scammer; report them.
  • Meet in a public place, tell a friend where you are going, and arrange your own transport.
  • Video chat first if you can. Be cautious if photos look too perfect or the person avoids a call.
  • Trust your instincts. It is fine to leave or to say no.

The assistant and the sacraments

Ask Orafide is not a priest. Confession, anointing of the sick and the other sacraments are never done in chat. For anything that weighs on your conscience or your family, please speak with your parish priest or a spiritual director. If you are thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right now.
